The mentioned Stephen King story, "The Mist" in Skeleton Crew, is one of my favorite creepy stories!

Feh. As killer fogs go, this one was boorrrrinnng. Just some pollution from too much coal burning and diesel busses, *yawn*. Deadly, sure, but where's the drama? A couple of hundred folks dropping dead a day? Hell, a good Chicago summer can get that for you.


No, for killer fogs, I prefer the Lake Nyos disaster of
August 21, 1986. 1700 people dead instantly. Now that's a killer fog worth dying over!
