Psychics thrive in turbulent stock market

Because of the economic uncertainty caused by the dot-com closures and the stock market downturn, many technology investors and workers are now turning to psychics for guidance. For example, in the GotMarketing website, psychic "Imara" has a web page and a regular column.

I'm surprised that people who work in field where reason is paramount would fall for such obvious horsesh*t.

What makes you think that investors operate on the basis of "reason"? These are the people who bid VA Linux up on its IPO, only to watch it proceed to drop 96% over one year, and that's just one of dozens of similar cases. The whole dot-com meltdown is a testament to the foolishness and lack of reasonableness of the investors who bought into those companies in the first place.
